48″ square

Pattern: Original fractal design.
Technique: Hand stitched.
Medium: Hand dyed silk and 37 cotton colourways from P&B Textiles fabric collection “Century of Progress”.

Mankind reaches the top of the cliffs of progress and looks down from a great height at the Mandelbrot Lake floating serenely through clouds.

The hand dyed silk is stitched down with glass beads and embroidery floss. A tiny running stitch secures it to the muslin background.
