Chrysogonum necklace

Chrysogonum, gold and green necklace – cubic right angle weave bead stitch. Made with seed beads, crystals, and glass pearls.

A design begun at Marcia DeCoster’s Masterclass at the Bead & Button Show in Milwaukee. Rather more elaborate than I would normally go for and for some reason it went through several design stages. Sometimes the idea in one’s head just works out straight away. Other times it just has to be worked out as you go along – like this necklace.

One thing is for sure, now I REALLY know how to stitch cubic right angle weave!

The necklace is named Chrysogonum after the native groundcover flower known as Green and Gold or Goldenstar.

Made with seed beads, Swarovski crystals and pearls.

The necklace is approximately 19″ long and the focal hangs a further 6″.
