Ammonite Pendant

One of the things I am running into when bezeling concave shapes – is … they’re concave. And the beads won’t tuck into the curve. So thinking about this I decided to experiment and design around concave shapes.

Luckily I had some ammonites in my stash and began playing.

This is what I came up with. It works, and it’s interesting. Will play more.

The pendant is approximately 2 inches x 1 1/4 at it’s widest point. From the top of the bail to the end of the chain is about 5 1/2 inches long. The gold coloured neckwire is 6 inches in diameter.
