Fafnir’s Tail bracelet

Fafnir’s Tail bracelet. Beadweaving – seed beads, double hole dagger beads and a button clasp.

Spiky and interesting, this bracelet was presented by Darlene Fordyce at the Portland Bead Society annual retreat at Cannon Beach, OR. It’s a right angle weave design, very clever. And it switches the direction of the middle row of dagger beads so when the bracelet is worn the ‘dragon scales’ lift up.

We came up with our own clasp and fortunately I found a lovely red/pink button to match the bracelet.

Made with seed beads and two hole dagger beads – flat right angle weave.

It measures 8″ long from toggle to clasp and fits a 6½” diameter wrist snuggly.
