As Miranda Weeks McGahey says - they've come a long way from their "bathtub" days in 1994 when they were dyeing thread in plastic containers. Here are 18 spools of 40wt hand over dyed cotton quilting thread in variegated colours.

It can be used for both hand and machine quilting and comes on 450 yard spools.
