Pattern: Original fractal design.
Medium: Printed silk charmeuse, silk ribbon and embroidery floss. Mounted on silver painted stretched canvas.
Technique: Hand embroidered and quilted.
Price: $650.00 (appraised)

This repetitive fractal image resembles a lobster tail and purple is the colour of royalty.

Techniques used in this piece:

  • printed onto silk fabric;
  • hand embroidered with silk ribbon and floss using French knots;
  • hand quilted;
  • the edges are frayed.
