Quilt and sewing notions

All the quilt notions you see here are ones that I personally like and use in my work. Hand work is my special love and these are items which make my job easier.

You have a very well organized and easy to navigate website. It was a pleasure doing business with you and your company. I received my order and the thread was beautiful! Thank you for the gift, it was so sweet of you to let me try out the needle. I am relatively new to the world of quilting and quilters, you are such a kind hearted bunch. When I came across your website I was searching for the Purple Thang, one of the ladies in my quilt group had one and it was a must for my sewing basket. I live in a U.S. Military community in Germany and we are web shoppers, as you can imagine.

That Purple Thang

That Purple Thang®
This is one of those tools that just kills me! I use it for pushing and tugging and holding down and many other unmentionable actions. It is the most useful invention and I have masses of them. Every quilter needs That Purple Thang just so they can tell their friends!

Glass headed applique pins

Glass headed appliqué pins
Perfect for appliqué work since they are only ¾" long. The small head will not be in your way and thread doesn't get so tangled. I use them a lot for my art quilts. They come in a little see-thru' clip case so you can find them easily.

Applique Pincushion

Applique Pincushion
These are the cutest little pincushions. You wear them like a ring on your finger. SOOOO useful when you are doing applique or any kind of stitching work. When you have pins in the fabric and you need to take them out its a real pain to have to reach over and drop pins anywhere. Plus it's also good for when you want pins to put IN your work.

They come in assorted colours so it'll be a big surprise when yours arrives.

IBC glass head silk pins

IBC glass head silk pins
Another one of my favorite products. I started using these skinny, strong pins years ago. And they really are good with silk as they are sharp and thin. They come in a little see-thru box.

1 3/8 inch long, 0.50mm diameter, steel shaft, 250 in a box
