Pearsall's Marabou silk floss

Pearsall's silk floss - MarabouFrom the UK, this is a stranded silk floss which is often used by fly fishermen for tying salmon flies. However, I see no reason why we stitchers shouldn't use it too!

The silk divides into several fine strands, and there are 8 meters on each half spool.
