Such a change in the light and the landscape. Coming from the brightness and colour of the West Indies to a totally different scenery in Virginia, USA. The wild tiger lilies blossoming in their thousands along the road banks, fields and gardens was astonishing. I had to capture the wonderful orange glow.
The border was taken from a lovely piece of hand woven silk given to me by my brother-in-law.
