Mettler cotton thread for fine embroidery 60 weight 2 ply 800 meters/875 yards

Mettler Embroidery Thread Looking for a bobbin thread to work with YLI 100wt silk thread? Diane Gaudynski recommends using Mettler 60/2 embroidery thread; the cotton 'grabs' the silk thread so it doesn't slip. Of course, there is the added benefit of making your cone of silk thread last longer if you use this thread in the bobbin! There are 875 yards on each spool.

Next to each spool there is information on which coloured YLI 100wt silk thread cone it matches.

Members of my quilting guild say they really like this Mettler embroidery thread for hand piecing. I tried it and agree, it makes for a less bulky seam.
