Dakini Silks offers a quality selection of hand painted silk scarves by artist Katherine Munro. Each scarf is hand painted with french dyes on 100 % Habotai Silk with hand rolled hems. Katherine has been a watercolor painter for the last 18 years and has recently switched to silk painting as her preferred medium. She specializes in the latest fashion colors and unique designs you won't find anywhere else.

Dave Daniels Quilts at Quilt Horizon
Quilt Horizon, home for Boston quilt artist Dave Daniels. His quilt art uses modern technology and a combination of old and new machines, such as a Singer Featherweight 221 and a Bernina 1090QE. His quilt “Jeremiah” for the Men of Biblical Proportions Exhibit was shown at the International Quilt Festival in Fall 2005.

Doodle Press - Quilt designs, patterns and books by Cara Gulati
Cara Gulati has spent her life around fabric. She has sold fabric and clothes, designed them both and ended up with her own company as a designer and manufacturer of children's wear. Fiber art and quilting in particular grabbed her heart and led her to things of a flatter nature. Cara makes very large art quilts and is currently working on a series called 3-D Explosion. She has written a book and teaches workshops on this design and sewing technique. One quilt in the series, '3-D Party Explosion' won Viewer's Choice at the Houston International Quilt Festival in 2003.

Eileen Doughty is the founder of a small art quilters group - Q&A, that meets in Virginia when time and schedules permit. Her art leans toward realism and landscapes but I have seen some interesting abstract work happening. Go look at her website.

Women and Men of Biblical Proportions Exhibition
The Women of Biblical Proportion exhibit was organized and debuted January 2004, and began its tour. The companion exhibit Men of Biblical Proportion was curated next and premiers October 2005. They will tour together and separately through December 2007, exhibiting in quilt shows, churches, museums and galleries throughout the country.
