Here is the stage, here are the people in the surrounding boxes. This is my living opera with all the people and all the places stitched into the fabric, woven like the tapestry of life.

Techniques used in this piece:

curved pieces are seamed together by hand;
smallest pieces are appliquéd on;
names of people and places are machine stitched in a woven pattern;
tapestry lines are hand embroidered in cotton thread.
