YLI Variegated Silk is a richly colored, subtle tone-on tone filament silk.
This thread is made by varying the color tones that are space dyed along a 100 wt 3/0 silk thread.

TIPS: Wrapping with the variegated thread is as straight forward as with solid colors, with one small difference in noticing double wraps, i.e. you cross your thread as you turn. With solid colors a double wrap often appears as a darker line. With variegate thread, the color constantly changes while wrapping (going from light to dark back to light) and makes it a little harder to notice if you have crossed over your previous wrap. The thread looks great with any variety of finishing techniques.
