48" square

Curved pieces are seamed together by hand using Aurifil 50wt cotton Mako thread and a Jean Lyle #10A applique needle .

Hand dyed silk fabric is furrowed by stitching down glass beads using a Jean Lyle straw needle, and embroidery floss using a Bohin crewel needle.

Beads and floss are stitched into the purple Mandelbrot Lake to represent haze.

The piece is quilted entirely by hand using YLI quilting cotton and a Jean Lyle #11Q quilting needle.
