Technique: Hand embroidered and quilted.

Classic fractal spiral with a humorous twist.

Techniques used in this piece:

silk fabric is printed;
french knots are embroidered into the print;
the whole piece is hand quilted with metallic embroidery thread;
a running stitch goes all around the edge to stop the silk fraying;
the edges have been soften by teasing out the warp and weft threads.
